CTC:
The production of tea begins right when the employee plucks
the leaves from the tea bush. Everything else being the same,
better quality leaves yield better finished products. Depending
on the quality of tea leaves, the factory managers decide how
to manufacture the leaves and accordingly the produce is sold.
Premium quality CTC tea is sold in 25 kg jute bags throughout
the country. It is also sold in 30, 32 and 34 kg jute bags through
auction centers located in Guwahati, Kolkata and Siliguri. All
these bags bear the estate’s name and the group’s
official logo.

Green
Tea:
The processes involved in producing Green Tea are different
from producing CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl).Green
Tea can be produced only with extremely tender leaves. Instead
of withering the tea leaves, production of green tea involves
roasting and rolling these leaves at very high temperatures.
Green Tea is sold domestically in 25 kg jute bags in the province
of Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. A sizeable portion of the
produce is exported to Afghanistan, CIS, Germany, Morocco, Poland
and the United States.
